Skoda Kamiq ABS and Steering Issues

I did check the tire pressure with my tire gauge after the low tire warning appeared, and they seemed fine; I even inflated tires a bit. But the ABS lamp is still on, and the steering wheel is still vibrating. Could it still be a tire sensor issue even if the pressures are okay?

Yes, it's possible. A defective valve can cause subtle pressure loss that the tire monitoring system detects, triggering the warning and potentially affecting other systems like ABS and power steering. The vibrations could be from the imbalance caused by even a slight pressure difference. I still recommend taking it to a workshop to check the tire sensor

Thanks so much for the insights. You were spot on. I took my Skoda Kamiq to the workshop, and they confirmed a defective valve in one of the tires. It also damaged the tire sensor. The total repair, including a new valve, tire sensor, and labor, came to 280€. It's all sorted now.

I had a similar issue with my Kamiq. The ABS lamp illuminated, and the steering became difficult to manage. It's likely a problem related to the tire monitoring system. Have you checked the tire pressures manually with a tire gauge?
