Skoda Fabia Power Window Issue

Hi, I have a problem with my Skoda Fabia, build year 2007, diesel engine. The power windows suddenly stopped working, none of them are responding. I scanned it with an OBD reader, and it shows an error related to the window regulator. I'm suspecting it's a defective power window switch. Any ideas?

Oh man, power windows are the worst when they go! I had the exact same issue with my old Renault Megane. All the windows just stopped working. First thing I'd check is the fuses. Have you had a look at them? They are cheap to replace, and it might save you some money! Also, did you try all the switches, including the ones on the other doors?

Thanks for the tip! I checked the fuses, and they seem fine. Yes, none of the power windows are working, regardless of which door switch I use. Could it still be a fuse even if it looks okay?

Yeah, it's unlikely if they all stopped at once and the fuses are fine. When mine did this, I tried everything. Ended up being the window motor itself. Since the error memory points to the window regulator, it might be worth getting it checked by a professional. Could be the window motor or the window track. It's a pain to diagnose yourself without the right tools. Best to avoid further damage.

I got it fixed. The workshop confirmed it was the power window switch. Cost me 200€ including labor. Thanks for your help.
