Skoda Fabia electrical issues

I'm experiencing some issues with my 2012 Skoda Fabia with a gasoline engine. It has 85230 km on the clock. I'm getting sporadic errors while driving, and sometimes error lamps light up. Various systems fail, mostly in audio/navigation. Control units shut down temporarily and become unresponsive. An error is stored in the error memory. Could this be a defective control module connection to the BUS system?

I had similar issues with my Fabia. Sporadic errors, especially with the audio system. Does the malfunction indicator light up on yours? Have you run any engine diagnostics?

Yes, sometimes the malfunction indicator lights up, and the navigation system freezes. Is that what happened to you? What did you do to fix it? Where was the error stored in the error memory?

That sounds very familiar. My issue was also intermittent. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop. They need to look at the control module’s connection. It’s likely a cable issue.

Sharing my experience, it turned out to be the cable connection to the BUS system. The workshop confirmed it after running engine diagnostics. The repair set me back 155€, but the malfunction indicator and system failure are gone. The service required message is also gone.
