Hissing sound huh? Now that you mention it, I think I did hear something similar a while back. How long did the pressure switch replacement take for you? Was it something easy to spot? Just trying to figure out if it is worth doing some AC maintenance myself or if I should just bite the bullet and take it to a pro.

The pressure switch wasn't the issue in my case. It turned out to be a slow refrigerant leak due to a faulty valve, like you suspected. It was so slow that I didn't even notice any visible signs of the leak. It took a while to diagnose correctly, and it was not something I could do myself. So I ended up taking it to a workshop. I'd recommend doing the same, honestly. Save yourself some time and frustration.

Thanks for the info. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it. They said there was indeed a defect in one of the valves, and it was leaking refrigerant. Quoted around 1000€ for the repair. Seems like a fair price to get the cooling system back in action.

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Citigo's AC last summer. The system just stopped blowing cold air completely. Did you happen to notice any unusual AC noise beforehand? I didn't pay much attention to it then, but looking back, there was this faint hissing sound sometimes when the AC was on. Could be a small refrigerant leak maybe. Have you checked the pressure switch? It's a pretty common culprit for AC problems, apparently.
