Hey, thanks for the response! I haven't seen any specific warning lights or error codes so far, which is a bit odd. Wouldn't the system usually detect something like that? Anyway, I've racked up about 141925 KM on this baby since I last had it serviced. Might need to bring it back to the garage sooner rather than later. I'll let you know how things turn out with the cable check. Cheers!
Hey, no problem at all! And yes, generally, the system should detect such issues, but it’s not infallible. Hmmm...141925 KM is a good amount of mileage - could definitely be a wear-and-tear thing. Your best bet is definitely to take it to the garage and get that checked out, better safe than sorry, right? I'll say from experience with my RX, sometimes these symptoms can stem from worn-out shock absorbers or struts, or even unbalanced tires, but I reckon a professional will know better from a closer look. I'm glad to know you're putting my initial advice into action! Don't forget to mention the sensor to your mechanic, it might save you some time and unnecessary expense. Hang in there! And do inform us how it turns out. Safe driving! Cheers!
Sure thing! Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it! You've given me quite a few things to consider before taking the car to the garage. I hadn't even thought about the shock absorbers, struts, or the tires, for that matter. Definitely will tell them to check the sensor while they're at it. Will let you guys know what they find. Fingers crossed it won't be too hefty. Drive safe, cheers!
Hey! I had a similar issue with my 2014 Lexus RX, pretty close to yours. By no means am I a car guru, but I have some experience dabbling with cars on the side. Turned out, I had a faulty cable connection on a sensor, messing with the height control. Had it identified and fixed by my local garage for about 155€. That might not be your exact issue, but it's a start. Could you possibly share more about any warning lights or error codes you're seeing? That could help me relate better to your problem and give more specific advice. Cheers!
