Seeking Solutions for Persistent Low Tire Pressure in 2017 Hyundai Creta - Potential Sensor Issue?
Tire pressure to low

Hey, thanks for jumping in with your advice! I see, the sensor battery thing hadn't really crossed my mind. I'll definitely give that consideration. As far as peculiar behavior goes, other than the tire pressure inconsistency, everything's been A-okay. No dashboard lights or explicit warning signs. Just for added context, it's a 2017 model that's run about 22966 KM since the last service. I'm wondering if it's just about time for a thorough service. Thanks for the help. Appreciate it!
No worries, dude! Always here to help fellow Hyundai owners. Your description tickled my memory and I recall that my Tucson didn't show any dashboard lights either when I had this issue. Only the tire pressure kept dipping until I changed the sensors. With nearly 23000 KM since your last service, getting a complete check could be beneficial regardless. Tires included! Also, keep in mind that cold weather affects tire pressure too, so if you've noticed the low pressure amidst a cold spell; it could just be that. Anyway, good luck with it all! Hope you sort it out without any major costs. Keep us posted.
Thanks again for the insight... very helpful indeed! And yeah, been a bit chilly here lately, so that might be a factor, didn't consider that. I reckon I’ll take the old girl in for a service and just get everything checked out, sensors and all. Solid advice, thank you so much! Will let you know how it pans out. Have a good one, cheers!
Hey there, it looks like we've had a similar run-in! I have a 2015 Hyundai Tucson, cousin to your Creta, and I faced the exact same thing a while back. I'd say I have some experience with cars, but I’m not a professional. Took my Tucson to the local garage and it turns out the culprit was a drained sensor battery. They replaced the sensor units in all four wheels for good measure - cost me 280 Euro though. Completely solved my issue for good! Could you share more details about your Creta's behavior? Any dashboard lights on or other symptoms? That way, I could maybe share more details that might apply better to your situation. Cheers.
