Hey! I really appreciate your insight! I haven't gotten any diagnostics done yet, too swamped with work. Good shout on that, I reckon I should set aside some time this weekend to get those error codes. My mileage is currently at 109044 KM, with the latest service just done last year. I sure hope it's not gonna cost me a bomb like yours did. Will definitely keep y'all updated on this. Cheers!
Hey there, no worries, we've all got our hands full! But yeah, the sooner you can get that diagnostic done, the better. Before you do, just double check if there's any issues with the coolant system or leaks. Problems there could also lead to overheating. But remember, these are just some leads to assist in the diagnosis. Can't be certain till you get those error codes read at the workshop. I hope it won't cost too much either, trust me nobody enjoys dropping big bucks on car repairs! 😅 Fingers crossed for ya and do keep us in the loop!
Hey, just noticed your response! Agree with what you said, need to prioritise getting a diagnostic. I'll do the initial checks you suggested before I head to the workshop. Crossing my fingers too, hoping the repair costs won't burn a hole in my pocket! 😄 Will absolutely keep you guys posted on the developments. Thanks a ton!
Hey! I gotcha! I had a similar issue with my 2014 Mazda CX9, so not the exact same model but very close. As a guy with some automotive experience, I had a hunch it was something funky going on right behind the bumper. Turned out, my radiator shutter wiring harness was defective/worn. I took it to my local workshop and the mechanic got it sorted for me. It wasn't cheap though, set me back about 215 Euro. Have you gotten your car diagnosed yet? What error codes are you hauling? It’ll help me give you some more detailed advice. Make sure to keep us posted, okay?
