Hey! Thanks for your quick response, it's really helpful. My Mistra's got about 67856 KM on the odometer and the last service was pretty recent. Your story does sound similar to my problem, though I hope to come off a bit cheaper if I can help it. If you could share those repair steps, perhaps I could try some preliminary checks myself before heading to a mechanic. Cheers!
Hey there! No worries happy to help. So here's what happened in my case, remember it's a bit technical. They started by diagnosing the Infotainment system, which controls both your navigation and audio system. They found out that the system was defective, and apparently, it can't be repaired, only replaced. A faulty speakerphone microphone wouldn't typically affect your navigation and audio system like you're experiencing. If that was the problem, you'd probably be having issues with calls through your Bluetooth connection. Since you're having problems with both systems, it's more likely something to do with the Infotainment system itself. Just to be clear, this was my experience, so it's definitely worth taking your car to a mechanic for a proper assessment. It can be costly, like it was for me, but fixing the issue gave me peace of mind while driving. Hope this helps, and fingers crossed it's not as big of a dent in the wallet for you! Cheers.
Thanks! That's really insightful. I didn't think the Infotainment system would potentially be the core issue, especially considering it might be just replaced instead of repaired. You're right, it's worth having professionals have a look at it. I'll be booked in with a mechanic this week, definitely worth the peace of mind! Thanks a bunch for all the help, really appreciate it. Fingers crossed indeed for the bill. Hold thumbs for me! Cheerio.
Hey there! I had a very similar issue with my 2019 Hyundai Sonata, just a different model of the same brand. I'd say I have some car experience. When troubleshooting, the guys at the workshop ran some diagnostics and we found out that the Infotainment system was defective. To get it fixed, I ended up paying about 815€, not a cheap fix, but it did the job. If you want, I can get you more details like the steps they took in the repair and such, just need some more information about your vehicle. Cheers!
