Hey, thanks for the reply! Really appreciate you sharing from your own experience. Just to add, as you've asked, my car has over 127,236 km on the clock - did a recent service around that mileage. Didn't find any diagnostic error codes unique to my issue though, just the typical stuff. As for my car's version, it's the 2021 Arkana with standard features. I guess I'll take your advice and bring it to my local garage for a check. Fingers crossed it doesn't cost more than that 250 euro expense you had. I'll keep you posted if I find out anything new or if it's something more serious. Thanks again!

Hey again! Thanks for providing more details. With that amount of mileage, it could potentially be a wear and tear issue. Still, the absence of any error codes related to the alarm system is interesting. If you're about to get it checked, it's good practice to ask them to specifically look at the tilt sensor too. Sometimes, a faulty tilt sensor wouldn't necessarily trigger an error code. It might just be sensitive enough to wrongly register movements or vibrations as threats and trigger the alarm system. In my case, they had to recalibrate some sensors, but the overall alarm system was still robust. The cost was mainly due to the labor involved in troubleshooting to find the problem. Hopefully, your cost stays at a similar level when you get it inspected. Keep us updated, and don't worry too much, it's a pretty standard issue among cars with high tech alarm systems like ours. Remember - staying frequent with your car's maintenance is key! Safe driving.

Thanks again for your insight! It's definitely put me more at ease knowing that it could just be a small sensor issue and is somewhat common in high tech alarm systems. I'll take your advice and specifically ask them to check the tilt sensor. And yep, regular maintenance is my mantra - guess these advanced vehicles also come with their own advanced quirks! Will update you on whatever happens. Thanks and safe driving to you too!

Hey there! I had a similar glitch on my 2019 Renault Megane - it's slightly older but the technology is pretty much the same. Just for reference, I've got some car experience, so I'm not totally clueless. After a few pesky moments with my alarm, I took my ride to a local garage. Turned out to be an error in the alarm system's sensors. The guys fixed it with a thorough check and some tweaking, setting me back around 250 euro. However, each case is unique. Knowing your car's specific version or any diagnostic error codes would help to pinpoint what could be causing your issue. Let me know, maybe I can share more insights!
