Spray nozzles frozen

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience with your Peugeot 308, that's really useful! I guess I'll make an appointment with the garage to avoid any more future headaches. Just curious, do you happen to remember what you ended up paying for the fix? And has anything else popped up since you got it sorted? Always looking to anticipate any potential problems. Thanks again!
Yo! I'm glad you found my experience to be handy. As for the cost, I had to shell out 155 Euro to fix the cable connection issue - I tell you, it stung a bit, but hey, at least it got sorted. Since then, there was that pesky Spray nozzle heater malfunction I mentioned earlier, but after getting it into the shop, that's all good now - the beauty works just fine even in the frostiest mornings, no more frozen spray nozzles for me. Apart from that, my old Peugeot's been running like a dream, really. Didn't face any other surprises. I reckon it's doing pretty swell for an older model, and it's not missing a beat. So, fingers crossed it stays this way. Cheers!
That's awesome to hear that your Peugeot is running like a dream now! I have to say, knowing the ballpark figure is definitely super helpful for me to not get ripped off at the garage. And I'm relieved to learn that your spray nozzle issue has also been resolved perfectly. It gives me hope and I'm starting to feel much less worried about mine. Your guidance has been really reassuring. I'll make an appointment with the mechanic straight away and get this sorted. Thanks a ton! You've been a great help. Cheers!
Hey there! Funny you should bring that up, 'cause I had a similar issue on my 2010 Peugeot 308 not too long ago. Turned out to be a Cable connection defective - trust me, you don't want that problem to grow bigger than it needs to be. I had to take it to the garage to get it fixed, and it was no picnic. The tricky part wasn't so much replacing the defective cable, though that's its own headache. It's identifying the issue right off the bat. You've got to first ensure it’s the cable that's acting up, and not some other system. One sure way to tell was when my car's temperature started to fluctuate. I wouldn’t call it a super serious issue, but then again, it’s not one to sleep on either. If left unchecked for too long it might lead to other, more complicated issues down the line, y'know? It's the kind of problem that starts off small, but ends up being a major inconvenience. So, I’d strongly recommend getting it sorted at the earliest so that you're not left hanging. But hey, don't stress, these cars are sturdy and stand the test of time. My 308’s still purring after all these years. All the best with it!
