Thanks for the quick response! Also, your hobbyist advice is very much appreciated. I'll definitely look into that cold shut-off valve. To be honest, I'm quite a newbie to all this car stuff but trying to pick things up as I go. As for more specifics, my Fiorino's clocked 45040 kms and last got serviced about 2000 kms ago at my local garage. I didn't report any issues back then and this electric malfunction & AC error popped up recently. I totally agree though, at the end of the day, there's no substitute for getting a pro to sort things out. Just wanted to get a sense of potential issues before heading to the garage. Will surely keep the group posted with updates. Again, thanks for the help! Cheers!
Hey there, based on your latest, I can see your Fiat's not exactly fresh off the market but it's certainly not old enough to start throwing tantrums! Since your last service wasn't too long ago, it might be a toss-up between some electrical gremlin that popped up coincidentally after the service, or an air conditioning system issue that's somehow affecting the rest of the electrics. That last scenario isn't too common but not impossible either. For the moment I'd stick to my first suspicion - that cold shut-off valve. They can get stuck or act up and send error reports out of the blue. Especially if the system has been stationary or under minimal use for some time. So, despite being a newbie (as you say), it's smart to dig around a bit and get to know possible issues. Just don't let it give you a headache, leave that part to your local pros! Looking forward to your update after the checkup. Best of luck, and hope it's something simple and not too pricey! Cheers!
You're a lifesaver very grateful for your thoughts! Yeah, just trying my best not to remain clueless when it comes to the machine I depend on for my daily commute. I will definitely ask my mechanic to check the cold shut-off valve. And let's hope it is indeed something simple and not too pricey, fingers crossed! I'll be sure to update the group once I've visited the garage. Maybe that'll help some other 'newbie' struggling with similar issues on their 2014 Fiat Fiorino, who knows? Thanks again for the insights and the optimism, much needed and appreciated! Cheers!
Hey! I've got some experience with a similar issue on my 2012 Fiat Doblo. Just a hobbyist mechanic here, so take this with a grain of salt. In my case, the culprit was a defective cold shut-off valve - got the same warning lights and all. Got it checked at my local workshop. Luckily, it didn't cost me a dime to have it sorted out. Based on your description, I suspect you're dealing with a similar problem. But to be sure, it'd be helpful if you could share more details about the specifics of your vehicle condition and maintenance history. Remember, it's always best to consult a professional if you're not sure. Keep us posted on how it goes, yeah? Cheers!
