Hey! Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I haven't done any mods lately, so it does seem like dirty sensors could be the culprit here. As you recommended, I'll bring my car to a reputable local workshop and have them use a scanner on it. That should pinpoint the issue hopefully! To answer your question, the latest service was done not too long ago and my mileage is currently around 190870 KM. Will update once I've taken the LFA to the workshop, really crossing fingers it's a simple and affordable fix like yours. Thanks again for your insights, appreciate it!
No problem at all! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully, it turns out to be a minor sensor issue like mine, rather than a more complex electrical problem. Just remember, cleanliness is key. Sensors tend to get dirty over time, and given you've clocked as much mileage as 190870 KM, it could very well be a grimy sensor throwing off everything. One more thing, after they scan your vehicle, ask them to record and explain the error codes for you. It could be handy to keep a record for future reference (it helped me understand my Lexus a bit more). I'm excited to hear back about what the experts at the workshop will find. Keep us updated and happy motoring!
Great advice on asking about the error codes, hadn't thought of that! I'll be sure to have them record it. You might be onto something with the dirty sensor considering my mileage. Who knows? And, will definitely keep you guys posted on what the workshop guys find. Once again, thanks for the helpful and detailed advice. It's great to have such a supportive car enthusiast community. Drive safe!
Hey there! It sounds like you're having a bit of a rough time. I had a somewhat similar problem with my 2010 Lexus IS F. I'd consider myself as having low experience with car maintenance, but I do love to tinker around and learn as I go. In my case, a dirty sensor was the culprit. I took it to the workshop where they simply cleaned it for me and voila, all those wonky warnings disappeared! The whole deal cost me around 45 Euro. Pretty budget-friendly, if you ask me. However, cars can be tricky - similar symptoms can have different root causes. For your peace of mind, try taking your baby to a well-reviewed local workshop. Make sure they use a scanner to read the error codes. It can significantly narrow down the list of potential issues. Out of curiosity, have you done any mods recently? Sometimes they can cause electrical issues too. Looking forward to hearing more about your Lexus LFA and happy to share any more details that might help you out!
