Hi, thanks for your insight! I didn't change or mess around with any parts recently. As for error messages, I’ve got to check that. The last time she was serviced was around 120085 km, so it might be a good idea to get her back to the workshop. I hope it’s just a simple cleanup and reset like yours, fingers crossed. I appreciate your response and I'll make sure to keep you posted. Cheers!
Hey again, absolutely no problem, happy to help where I can! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you too, hopefully it's a similar fix and you're back on the road in no time. Regarding the error messages, it really could be worth checking out. In modern cars like our Renaults, the system often throws up a fault code that you can get read by a decent scanner tool. It saved me a lot of guessing work with my Megane. If it turns out you need more than just a cleanup, don't panic. It might still not be as bad as you think, sometimes sensors just malfunction and cause a string of issues that seem a lot scarier than they really are. Keep us updated. We're all learning from each other's experiences here. Cheers!
Hey again! Thanks a ton for the reassurance, I'm feeling less stressed about it already. I'll definitely take your advice and get fault codes read. If it is indeed a malfunctioning sensor, that's probably a lot easier to resolve than I initially feared. I'll for sure reach out when I have more details to share, it's great to have a community like this, especially when you run into these kinds of problems. Got my fingers crossed that the solutions aren't too complicated or too expensive. Cheers!
Hey there! I had a very similar issue with my 2021 Renault Megane, also a petrol engine. Now, I'm not a car guru or anything, but I've picked up a bit of car knowledge over the years, so here's my two-cents. In my case, my workshop diagnosed it as an error entry after changing the fuel filter. It was kinda frustrating, but after a good cleanup and resetting the error message, all the symptoms you're describing cleared right up. Cost me 45 euro, which I thought was pretty reasonable, considering how much better the car ran afterwards! By the way, did you recently change or fiddle around with any parts, particularly the fuel filter or regulator? Also, have you checked your car for any error messages? Doing this might help pinpoint the issue and get your Arkana back on track. Hope this info is somewhat helpful to you, and let me know if you've got any other questions. Good luck!
