No sound of the Audiosystem

Navigationssystem is not working

Hey all, I'm having some odd problems with my 2016 Lexus CT200h. The audio system isn't making any sound, and the navigation isn't working at all. I'm thinking this might be due to some sort of limitation with the audio function? How have you guys dealt with an issue like this, and what was your experience getting it fixed at the workshop? Any advice would be awesome. Thanks!

Hey there, I've got a 2018 Lexus IS300, so a bit similar to your CT200h. My knowledge of cars is kinda at a low level, don't really have much expertise. Still, I had to face a similar audio issue once. Turned out the bass speaker was defective. I took my car to a trusted workshop, they diagnosed the problem swiftly. Paid 280€ to get it all fixed up, not cheap, but well worth it to have my tunes back. Without knowing your exact vehicle details, I can't say for sure if it's the same problem. A trip to a good shop wouldn't hurt. Good luck!

Hey! Appreciate your response! That sounds like a feasible cause since my had a similar problem with his Lexus before. My CT200h has run about 38460 KM after the last service, so it's about time I paid a visit to the workshop again. Let's hope it's not too much of a dent in the wallet! Hey! I'm glad my suggestion was somewhat helpful. I feel your pain. It's really annoying when you're itching to blast your playlist a bit and the speakers decide to go mute! It's a bit like hosting a party but forgetting the food... just doesn't feel right! I get how you're worried about the potential damage to your wallet. My trip to the workshop wasn't cheap either, but I tell ya, being able to rock out to your favourite tunes while driving is worth every single penny. As for your navigation system, I've heard of some cases where the system fails due to a software glitch. Hey! Will definitely take your advice on board. Hoping it'll just be a quick software update and not something more serious. At the end of the day, I just want to get back to my tunes and trouble-free navigation. You're right though, a silent journey is like a party without food - let's hope this party picks back up again soon!
