Seeking Solutions for a Non-Starting 2006 Hyundai Accent: Possible ECU Main Relay Issue?
Car won't start

Hey! Really thankful for your insights. My Accent's been treating me well with no major breakdowns so far until this. I mean it's driven 42568 KM already and the latest service has been done just a couple of months back. All the usual stuff... oil change was part of the service too. Guess I'll have the relay checked out as you suggested. Cheers!
Hey, glad to help! Yeah, it's weird how our rides betray us. Seeing that your car's maintained and isn't heavily used, I reckon the trouble might well be with the relay thing. My mechanic explained that the relay is like a messenger delivering voltage to your engine components. If this lil' guy decides to take a vacation, things won’t kick off. So that perfectly aligns with your starting problem. Anyway, if it does land up being the relay, your mechanic should have it sorted fairly quickly. The relay isn't a bank breaker, but the labor could be, depending on where you live. My experience though, Hyundai does make reliable cars and I've never faced the same issue twice. Please keep us posted on your Accent's progress! Best of luck, dude!
Hey there! I had a similar problem with my 2008 Hyundai Elantra, also gas-run. I'd say my car knowledge is in the 'some experience' category. My ride was acting up just like yours, not starting at all. Took it to my local repair shop, and turned out it was a defective main relay messing around. Cost about 120 Euro to get it fixed. Any chance you can tell us more about your Accent's condition? Might be able to help you out a bit more. Doesn't seem like a crazy big issue from where I'm standing, but more info always helps!
