Seeking Solutions for 2019 Kia Seltos In-Car Calling Feature Issue

Calls cannot be answered

Hey guys, got a tricky one with my 2019 Kia Seltos petrol variant. I'm having trouble with the in-car calling feature; it just won't answer any calls. I suspect it's a glitch with the hands-free microphone system. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? If yes, how did you go about fixing this at your local workshop? Any shared experiences would be really helpful. Appreciate your insights!

Hey! I've got a 2017 Kia Sportage, so pretty darn similar in most aspects, right? Honestly, I'm no grease monkey, but I do have some experience with cars, only learned this stuff out of necessity though. I stumbled upon this exact problem a while back. Long story short, swung by my local shop and they had this browsed over. It turned out to be not just a microphone issue, but a full-on hitch with the Infotainment system. The fix cost me 815 Euro, hefty I know. By the way, do you know the exact version of your Infotainment system? It can help if we have complete info to tackle it right at the source. Hey there! I appreciate the input, sounds like we're on the same page! I couldn't tell you the exact version of my Infotainment system off the top of my head, but I'll definitely check it out tomorrow. Just clocked in 46134 KM on the Seltos last week, so maybe it's a wear and tear thing, who knows? I'll make sure to update this thread after visiting my local workshop.
