Hi there! Many thanks for the solid advice! To give you a little bit more context, I have a 2013 Volvo XC90 Hybrid with 66446 KM mileage. Went in for the last service just about a few weeks back. Everything else seems to be in order, it's just the navigation & audio system really. Your experience has given me some real insight here. I'll have the display checked thoroughly at my local workshop and then we'll see where it goes. Btw, you don't really notice how much you miss the sound of music in your car until it's gone, aye? Thanks again!

Ah, tell me about it! Cruising on the road without some good tunes feels like eating a sandwich with no filling - it just ain't right! Given that your car's still under 100,000 KM, it's quite puzzling why you're having these issues, especially when you've just had it serviced a few weeks back. If it were the audio signal error alone, I'd advise you to check the fuses or wiring, but with the navigation system also acting up, it does seem like it could be something to do with the display or the control module itself. I'd definitely recommend taking your car back to the same workshop, explain the situation and have them take a thorough look. I reckon they'd be willing to help, especially since you've just been there for a service. You paid them for a service and they should be ensuring all’s well, right? Btw, let us know how it goes. Always here to help a fellow Volvo enthusiast. Cheers!

You hit the nail on the head there. It does feel a bit like a sandwich without the filling! Your suggestion of getting it checked with the same workshop sounds like a solid plan. And yes, it's a bit annoying that this has cropped up so soon after the service. I’ll get the car checked again and ask them to focus on the display and control module. Here's hoping to get my "filling" back soon. I promise I'll keep you posted. It's good to have a fellow Volvo enthusiast to bounce ideas off! Cheers to you too, and thanks for the help!

Hey there! I had a very similar issue with my 2011 Volvo XC60 Hybrid. Just like you, I suspected that it might be because of some signal error, but turned out my display was actually damaged. I've been tinkering around with cars for a while now, so I kinda understand a bit of what's going on under the hood. My trusty old mechanic, as expected, pegged the problem quickly and his team did a fantastic job in fixing it. Ended up paying 725 Euro, quite a hit on the wallet, but got the job done brilliantly. By the way, it might be helpful if you could share some more details about your vehicle, so that I might be able to give a more pinpoint suggestion. Cheers!
