Yo, Thanks for sharing that. Your experience sounds exactly like what I'm facing with my C70. And it's nice to know it wasn't anything overly complicated with your S60. Curiosity has got the better of me though - do you remember what kind of cash you shelled out for that fix? And other than the light and cranking issues, did anything else pop up after the replacement? Cheers!

Hey! You're quite welcome, happy to share the experience. So, as for the cost, it wasn't too bad – set me back about 110 Euro to get that emergency call system battery fixed. But worth every penny since that sort it all out. The dimming lights, weak cranking, everything went back to normal, just the way it should be. Besides, post-replacement, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary with my S60. It's been running smoothly, no extra surprises popping up, thank goodness! Feels like the car got its old self back after the fix. Here's hoping your C70's issue turns out to be just as easily solved. Cheers!

Hey, Back at ya with a thank you for the detailed reply. I gotta say, that's a relief to hear that it didn't cost the moon. The car acting normal post the fix is a real morale booster too. Gives me hope that my sweet C70 could whip back into its old self as well. I'm gonna get in touch with my mechanic and see how this turns out. Props for sharing your experience, man. Fingers crossed for an easy fix. Cheers!

Hi there, Yeah, I get what you're saying. I've got a 2015 diesel Volvo S60 myself and faced pretty much the same issue not too long ago. My lights were acting funny too and the car wasn't cranking as it should. Turned out, my emergency battery was totally discharged. It wasn't super serious, but I had to take it to my garage. The mechanics suggested it was indeed the emergency battery, and after their poking and prodding, they ended up replacing the whole thing. The car's back to business since then. Do check that out with your mechanic, and hopefully, it turns out as straightforward as it was with me. Good luck!
