Howdy! I really appreciate you reaching out. Well, alongside those warning lights, I do get this occasional shudder when shifting gears, especially when downshifting. Don't think it's something to do with my clutch though, as my last car check service at 128,273 km didn't point out any major brake or clutch issues. I'll take your advice and try to get the acceleration sensor inspected. Maybe that's where the issue lies. Thanks for your input!
Hey, no problem at all! The shudder you're talking about when shifting gears - I had something similar on my Kadjar before, but it had nothing to do with the airbag light. Sounds like your transmission might need some attention as well. As for the airbag light, I'd definitely get that acceleration sensor checked out. If it's the culprit, at least it's a relatively simple fix. Keep us updated, yeah? Good luck with it all!
Cheers for the quick advice! A transmission check sounds sensible, hadn't considered that before. You're right about the airbag light and acceleration sensor though, don't want to take any chances with safety. I'll set up an appointment with my local mechanic this week about these issues. Will drop an update once everything's sorted. Really appreciate the help!
Hey there, I had a similar thing with my Renault Kadjar 2019 a while back. I've got some experience working on cars, but I'm not a mechanic or anything. Turned out, my acceleration sensor was defective. Had to have my sensor replaced at the local workshop and it cost me about 315 euro. But I reckon it might not be the exact same issue with your Arkana. Could you tell me a bit more about the other signs your car's showing? Happy to help however I can!
