Hey, thanks for sharing your experience. Your Kadjar situation got me thinking. The injector part does sound like a bit of a nightmare but I'm glad you got it resolved. Bit of a long shot, but do you remember what that repair set you back? Also, has anything else cropped up over there since then? Always good to stay one step ahead with these things. Cheers!
Hey there, yeah, I remember quite clearly because it stung a bit at the time. The whole process including the new injectors set me back about 515€, but it seems to have paid off. After I got it sorted, the rough engine running was a thing of the past. It's been pretty smooth sailing with the ride since then. So, that's my two cents! You might want to get that checked right away, though. Cheers!
Cheers for the feedback and for being open about the cost. This gives me a ballpark figure to expect as I take my Arkana in. I appreciate the heads up about potentially serious injector issues. With all the other symptoms being similar, it's better to be safe than sorry. I'll definitely get it checked asap. Here's hoping for smoother rides ahead and less time at the mechanics. Thanks again, really appreciate it!
Hey, sounds like you're having a rough one with your Arkana. Had a similar situation with my 2020 Renault Kadjar, generally the same issues. Had a glow plug come on intermittently. Mechanics told me it was a faulty injector causing all the problems. Not to scare you but apparently, it was a critical issue. Got all four injectors replaced, idle was smooth as a calm lake afterwards and fuel economy improved dramatically, no more stinky exhaust as well. So yeah, it was one heck of an issue alright, but it wasn't something that could be neglected. Just remember, different model and all, but worth looking into. Good luck!
