Hey there! Thanks for sharing your experience. I haven't exactly noted down the error codes, to be honest. All I can say is - while there's no issue with its handling, the car definitely doesn't feel smooth over bumps or pot holes. Plus, the shorter side always seems to have a little bit more lean than it should. I know it's not very specific but that's pretty much what I've noticed. Although, your suggestion about the height sensor - that could be a lead. Will get the cable connection checked and take it from there. Cheers for the advice. It's been slightly over 6853 kilometers since my last service, might be due for one soon too.
No worries! That's plenty of info. The lean and the harsh ride sure do hint at a height sensor malfunction - or at the very least something related to your suspension system. It's good that you're considering getting it checked. Not exactly the same, but my RX also had some unusual lean during turns around the time the issue popped up. Got it sorted along with the sensor issues, and it's been sailing smooth since. 'Bout your next service, with the distance you've traveled since your last, it wouldn't hurt to get it done sooner. Always better to be safe than sorry! Do drop an update on what they find if you can. And don't let the bouncy ride get ya down, it'll be fixed in no time. Good luck!
Hey champ, thanks a ton! That's put me at ease a little bit. Will definitely look into getting that sensor issue and suspension system checked. Your experience seems pretty relatable so, I'm optimistic about this. As for the service, considering the miles, seems like it's high time I get it done. I'll keep you posted about what the workshop finds. Fingers crossed this bumpy ride will stop being a nuisance soon. Cheers for all the valuable input, it's greatly appreciated. Till then, keep revving!
Hey! Coincidentally, I own a 2018 Lexus RX hybrid and I had a very similar case. I'm no expert on cars, I'd say I've some experience, mostly from having to deal with these annoyances. My workshop initially thought it was a suspension issue, but upon deeper inspection, it turned out to be a defective cable connection on the height sensor. This can cause unusual dynamics like you’ve reported. Got it repaired for 155€. But it might not be identical to your case. Do you know the exact error codes or more specific symptoms your car's showing? I would be glad to sift through my past experiences and see if they match up.
