Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting Warning Light Issue in 2022 Hyundai Venue with Gasoline Engine
Warning light in the speedometer of the vehicle

Thanks for your response! You've given me a potential angle to check out, with the DSC/ABS control unit. My Venue's odometer hit 57507 km with the last service done around the same. No other warning signs really, except that the warning light tends to blink along with a slight lag in acceleration. Can that point to something? Appreciate your help in untangling this one!
Hey! That's a pretty neat amount of detail you got there. Helps to know your Venue's getting good mileage and regular service. The blinky-light-plus-lag-combo though changes the diagnosis a bit. When my Kona had that defective DSC/ABS, it didn't really mess with the acceleration as such. Your vehicle lagging might suggest it's something engine related instead, possibly the fuel injection system, or even the throttle body needing a good clean-up or being replaced. Those lights are sneaky sometimes, one problem can trigger a different warning, happened to a of mine once. Don't take my word as the bible though, I recommend getting down to a mech you trust. Because they're trained to handle these mysteries and can diagnose it better with a fault code reader. Hope this helps and do keep us updated on what you find out. Fingers crossed!
Hey, seriously appreciate you taking the time to help me think this through! You're spot on, might be best to get my Venue over to my trusty mechanic for a thorough inspection. I do have a suspicion about the throttle body now that you mention it, had a similar issue with a previous car. Will definitely keep everyone updated once I've got a better handle on this. Thanks again for your insights, really puts my mind at ease to have a couple plausible ideas to work with. Cheers!
Hey there, Just so happens I had a real close situation with my 2020 Hyundai Kona and let me tell you, didn't have a heap of car experience when it hit me either. Although it rarely happens, the problem in my case was with the DSC/ABS control unit being defective. Cost me a sweet 1000€ to set it right, but well worth it and no more scary lights on the dashboard. But hey, every car's different, ain't they? If you could share more about your Venue, like mileage, any other warning signs or noises, maybe I can offer you some more details. Get you to a more specific point in troubleshooting this mystery that our beloved cars throw at us.
