Hey! Thanks for chiming in, appreciate your input. To give you more about my V60, she's clocked 148,391 km now. The last service was done a few months ago and everything was fine. I've been her guy since the day she rolled off the line. Definitely miss the days when she was issue-free. Your experience gives me hope that this won't be a giant headache. Fingers crossed it's a similar straightforward fix! Cheers for the advice, let's hope we figure this out soon!

Howdy,! Your Volvo's got a decent amount of miles on her, but that could also mean some parts may be showing their age. Your issue does sound similar to what I faced. However, in my case, it was more of a faulty programming issue, i.e., the car's computer incorrectly reading the height adjustment sensor due to that cable malfunction. Once fixed, it was as smooth as day one. Bouncing might signify worn out shock absorbers, too. But don't take my word as gospel; it's just one of those things I've noticed. Like you, I'm also learning as I go. I really recommend talking to your workshop, let them know the issue. They're the best bet in this situation and I'm pretty sure they could find a fix. Do let us know how it goes. Hoping your V60 gets her bounce back! Wishing you all the best! Cheers!

Hey! Cheers for the additional insight—it's greatly appreciated. Your experience and suggestions have been immensely helpful. I hadn't even considered the shock absorbers, so I'll certainly share this information with my workshop when I take her in. I'm all about learning as I go, and this situation has been a real learning curve for me. I'll keep you updated on how it all goes. Fingers crossed she'll be back in her prime soon - these bumpy rides aren't fun at all! Thanks again. Best of luck with your own car adventures too! Cheers!

Hey! I've had something similar with my 2011 Volvo S60. I'm no expert, just a car owner with some experience dealing with glitches. Turns out it was the cable connection on the height control sensor that went kaput causing all the mess. My trusty old workshop helped me out. Turned out to be a pretty straightforward fix costing me around 155 Euro. But each car is unique, so could you share some more about yours? Maybe the mileage and how long you’ve owned it? Could help with narrowing down the issue. Don't sweat it, though. We'll sort it out! Keep me looped in.
