Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting Ride Height and Bouncing Issues in 2015 Ford Cmax Diesel

Excessive Bouncing

Uneven Ride Height

Hey! I've been noticing some weird issues with my 2015 Ford Cmax Diesel, primarily with odd ride height and a lot of bouncing. I'm guessing the issue might be with the height control function, but not really sure. Any of you had a similar experience and managed to sort it out at the garage? Would really appreciate your tips to help me troubleshoot this problem better. Cheers!

Hey there! I also had a similar issue on my 2013 Ford Focus Diesel. I'd say I've got some experience with cars overall but I'm certainly not an expert. When I had this issue, I took my car to my local workshop. The mechanic found that the cable connection on the sensor was defective. They replaced it for me and that actually fixed the issue. Cost me 155 Euro which I thought was quite reasonable. By the way, has your car had any other issues recently? Knowing more about your car's overall condition might help me to give a more specific advice. Hope this helps!

Hey, thanks for that insight! Glad to hear you sorted it out without breaking the bank. In terms of other issues, nothing significant stands out recently. I serviced the car not too long ago, around the 325814 KM mark actually. My local mechanic didn't point out any other major problems, just the usual wear and tear. I'm gonna have another chat with him about the sensor you mentioned. Cheers again!

No worries! Good to hear your car isn't giving you too much trouble overall. With the mileage you're at, some of these issues are bound to crop up, but it's not a biggie. Definitely have that chat with your mechanic about the sensor, and see what he says. I reckon it might be worth getting it checked out, given that you're experiencing similar issues as I did. Make sure your ride height sensors are properly attached and the wire connection is secure. And hey, keep me posted! Would be interested to see if that's the root of the problem. Drive safe!

Absolutely I'll surely bring up the sensor issue next time I visit the mechanic. Sounds like it could be the root of my problem. It's amazing how having a community of to discuss these little glitches with can save us a headache, and some cash too. I'll keep you updated on how it goes. Many thanks again for your advice and take care!
