Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting Renault Arkana's Blower and AUC Sensor Issues

Insufficient Cooling/Heating

Blower does not work properly

Hey folks, I've got a bit of a head-scratcher with my 2020 Renault Arkana with a gasoline engine. Recently, the blower's been acting up and doesn't seem to work properly. On top of that, the cooling and heating aren't up to snuff. My gut tells me it could be an AUC sensor signal throwing things off. Anyone else faced a similar issue and found a fix? I'm really curious to know how your workshop sorted it out and how that experience was for you. Any insights would be really appreciated!

Hey there! I have a 2018 Renault Captur, so pretty similar. I've got some experience with cars, but I'm no expert, you know? A while ago, I faced a similar issue. It drove me nuts! Turns out the sensor itself was defective. My workshop was decent. Friendly folks who knew their stuff. It cost me about 90 euro to get it fixed. Not too shabby, considering how much it kept bugging me. Could you share more about the condition of your vehicle? That would help me compare it with my own experience and maybe I could help you some more.

Hey, thanks for reaching out! My Arkana is practically new, just driven around 9202 km till now, and hasn't had any serious issues apart from the blower acting up. Like your case, it may be a sensor problem. Considering your experience, I think I should get it serviced and checked out as well. Appreciate your help!

Hey! No problem, happy to share my experience. Considering your car is almost new and has been driven so less, this blower issue seems off. But again, machines can be unpredictable sometimes, right? Yes, going for a servicing seems like a good plan. I mean, it worked for me and although our models are different yet they are similar too. The mechanics will probably be able to detect if the AUC sensor is at fault or there's some other issue at play. Don't forget to share how it panned out - maybe we all will learn something from it! Wish you good luck with this! Hoping your Arkana gets back to its perfect self soon.

You're right, machines can indeed be quite unpredictable! I'll take your advice and bring my Arkana to the workshop for a good check-up. I'll definitely keep you posted on what the problem was and how the mechanics dealt with it. Might be useful for everyone around here! Thanks for the help and cheers for the good vibes!

Let our mechanics help you!
