Excessive Bouncing
Uneven Ride Height

Hey! Thanks for your insights pretty helpful! I reckon it could be a sensor issue too. My 4007 has about 189521 KM on it, last service was a few months ago. It's been running fairly smoothly until this bouncing problem popped up. Will check the sensor cables and might have to pay a visit to the workshop later. Cheers for the advice, will keep y'all updated!
Hey! No worries at all, glad I could throw in my two cents! Given the mileage, some wear and tear issues are bound to pop up eventually. Given your situation, I'd say it's worth reaching out to the workshop sooner rather than later, as these things tend to get worse if left unchecked. Be sure to double-check those sensor cables and, if possible, maybe take a gander at your suspension - excessive bouncing could be indicative of worn-out struts or shocks, too. If you're not too sure what to look for, a mechanic could shed some light on it. Trust me, riding around like a roo on a merry-go-round is no fun experience! Keep us in the loop and the best of luck with the fix!
Hey! Spot on advice, much appreciated! I'll take your word on it and give the garage a ring first thing in the morning. Will definitely poke around the struts and shocks, and aye, riding like a kiddie on the trampoline's old hat now, want my smooth ride back! Will keep you updated on what I find out, watch this space. Cheers!
Hey! I reckon I've got some experience to share since I dealt with a kindred issue on my 2009 Peugeot 5008 Diesel - pretty akin model to yours. I'd classify myself as having low to some car experience - definitely no mechanic, but not a total newbie either. Anyway, ended up having to hoof it to a workshop 'cause my car started acting all wonky and bouncy. Turns out, it was a defective cable connection on a sensor - possibly what's going on with yours. Cost me a neat 155€ to get it set right, no more bouncing around after that. Maybe try and give that a look? If you need more help or if any of what I've jotted down here isn't clear, could you share a bit more detail about your vehicle and the problem? Keep us posted and good luck!
