Hey! No worries. We're all here to help each other out. Well, with the kind of distance your car has covered, it can have some wear and tear. This could potentially include the electric circuits which, in this case, also might be the ones connecting to your heated windows and the exterior mirrors. While it's possible that the problem might be connected to the exterior mirror heating like in my case, I'd still suggest you to take your ride to a professional, just to be sure. Moreover, if you find the mirrors are not heating, there is a chance the same wires could be causing your windows not to warm up too. An electric system diagnostic should reveal the problem in either case. Don't miss out on checking the fuses either, sometimes it's as simple as a blown fuse which you can replace yourself without much trouble. Keep us posted on the progress. Drive safe and don't let the cold get to you. Cheers!
Hey, that sounds about right and quite practical advice. Yeah, it's definitely high time for another trip to the mechanic then, to make sure nothing gets overlooked. Definitely gonna ask him to check the wiring and the fuses as well, just to cover all bases. Appreciate the guidance! All the best and will keep you updated. Cheers!
Hey there! I had a similar problem with my '05 Mazda Verisa. My car expertise could be classified as low, but I learned a lot from this issue. Took it to my local mechanic and turned out there was a defective cable connection to my mirror. We had to fix the connection issue and deal with some oxidized parts on the mirror glass. It set me back 155€ to have it fixed, but my heated mirrors are working again now. However, there could be multiple reasons causing your problem. Can you tell us how many miles your AZ Wagon has run and if it had any previous repairs? That would help in providing a more accurate advice! Cheers!
