Hey there! Appreciate your input, it does sound quite like what's happening with my Lexus. I'm not really sure about the battery age, haven't replaced it since I bought the car. However, I didn't face such issues before. My mileage is pretty high, around 170541 KM, so maybe it's due to wear and tear. Had my latest service nearly 10 months ago. Guess a battery check seems reasonable. Will keep you posted on what I find out from the garage. Thanks again!
No worries! Always happy to help someone in the same predicament. Based on what you've shared about the mileage on your Lexus and the last service being 10 months ago, I'm leaning even more towards the battery being the culprit. If you haven't replaced it since you bought the car, well, there's a decent chance it's living on borrowed time. Pretty high mileage combined with wear and tear could definitely affect the battery's performance. Might be worthwhile getting that battery check done sooner than later so you can rule it out. If it is the issue, at least you'll know, and you won't risk getting stranded somewhere with a dead battery. Keep us updated and fingers crossed it's nothing too complicated or pricey. Drive safe!
Cheers for the heads up and advice! Yeah, definitely don't want to chance ending up stranded with a dead battery. I'll get my Lexus to the garage ASAP and have them check out the battery as you suggested. Eager to find out if that's the culprit. Will be sure to keep you all posted. Thanks again for the help! Drive safely too!
Hey, ran into something similar with my 2013 Lexus ES Hybrid, so we're pretty much in the same boat. As for my car knowledge, let's say I've got some experience; I'm not a mechanic, but I can change a tire and jumpstart the old girl! Took my ride to the local garage when troubleshooting didn't get me anywhere, turns out it was a weak battery. Ended up having to cough up 290 Euro to get it replaced, but it sorted the issue out. Not saying that's what's wrong with your Lexus, but given how similar our situations are, it might be worth checking out. Could you share more details, like how old your battery is and if you've had similar problems before? Might help to pinpoint the problem a bit better. Cheers!
