Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting and Repairing a Faulty Fresh Air Blower in a 2014 Dacia Sandero
Blower does not work properly

Hey there! Thanks so much for the quick response. My Sandero's odometer's at 16565 km. So it's not even that old, you know? Now, the blower isn't completely dead, but it's definitely not as powerful as it used to be. Plus, it’s making this strange humming noise on the third and fourth speed settings. Fuses are all good, already checked that. €365 doesn't sound too bad, considering. Might have to start saving up though, haha! Can you tell me if the repair took long at their workshop? Thanks again.
Hey again! Ah, the humming noise; that does sound like a faulty blower motor. When it happened to mine, it was kinda the same. Not totally kaput, just wasn't blowing as hard as it should have been and making odd noises. About the repair, it didn't take long at all. The fellas at the workshop had it done within a day - I just dropped the Logan off in the morning and picked it up after work. So, shouldn't really mess with your schedule too much. Hope this helps! Don't hesitate to drop any other question. I might not be a mechanic, but I've bumped around under the hood of my Logan plenty of times!
Hey, it's so good to know I'm not the only one with this issue. Your experience really gives me some clarity about what's probably happening. The one-day repair sounds manageable, heh! And I guess, getting a good repair is more important than the cost, right? Especially thankful for your offer to help with any more questions. You might see more of me around here! Thanks again for all the help, much appreciated!
Hey, funny enough, I had a very similar issue with my 2012 Dacia Logan a while back. I'd describe myself as having some experience with car issues, but I'm no mechanic, that's for sure. Turned out it was indeed the blower motor that was defective. I drove it into my regular workshop, and the guys there confirmed my suspicions. For the part itself plus labor, ended up paying around €365 all up, which wasn't too bad, considering. But, to give you a more accurate advice, can you share exactly what's happening? Any unusual noises, or is it just not blowing at all? Don't forget to check your fuses too, just in case.
