Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting 2019 Dacia Sandero's Navigation System Failure

Navigationssystem is not working

Hey! I've been dealing with an odd issue on my 2019 Dacia Sandero with a gasoline engine. The main trouble is with the navigation system which seems to have given up the ghost. I have a hunch it might be linked to a screen failure but I'm not completely certain. Have any of you gone through something similar and got it fixed at your local garage? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences in troubleshooting this problem. Thanks a bunch!

Hey! I had the exact issue with my 2017 Dacia Logan, pretty much the same model as your Sandero. When it comes to cars, I like to think I have some experience. In my case, your hunch was on the money - the problem turned out to be a damaged display. I took my Logan to the local workshop, they got into it and confirmed my suspicion. The cost came to about 725€ to get it all sorted which might sound harsh, but trusting professionals was worth it, in my opinion. However, I'd like to know a bit more about your car - any recent damages, maybe water leaks? It might help me give more precise advice because every car situation can be unique. Happy to help further if I can!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! That's interesting to hear about your Logan. I haven't noticed any water leaks or recent damages on my Sandero, and I last had it serviced at the 130371 KM mark. The navigation system just unusually stopped working one day. I guess I might have to bite the bullet and take it to a professional after all. Would be great if it's just the display and nothing worse. Cheers for helping out!

Hey, no worries! From what you're saying, it still sounds like the screen could be the culprit. If there's no history of water damage or other structural harm to your Sandero, the system failure may just be due to normal wear and tear. Don't sweat it too much. Indeed, it's best to have a pro check it out to be certain. As I mentioned, my experience with the Logan taught me sometimes it's about knowing when to get the experts involved. Just remember, a fix might sting a little on the wallet but your peace of mind and safety on the road are worth it in the end. Good luck with getting that sorted!

Hey, thanks again for your reassurance and expert advice! It's true, getting a pro on board seems like the way forward now. Having a functional navigation system definitely holds priority over saving a few bucks! I'll keep you updated on the fix. Your experience has definitely provided some useful insight. Cheers!
