Seeking Advice on Troubleshooting 2016 Fiat Doblo's Check Engine Light, Reduced Power, and Unstable Engine

Hey, ran into a similar pickle with my 2014 Fiat Ducato not too long ago. I’m no car guru, just a guy with some experience under his belt. Loved the ol' gal, so took it straight to my trusty local mechanic. After some poking around, it turned out to be the sensor wheel on the camshafts. I gotta admit, it wasn't cheap to fix - set me back a groaning 695€, but considering the alternative of my ride ending up as scrap, it was totally worth it.
