Hey, appreciate the quick response! Would you believe, my Doblo just hit 79730 km recently. The last service was not too long ago, but this issue started cropping up after that, which is just my luck, right? I'm just hoping the fix for my Doblo won't be an arm and a leg, considering everything else that's been going on. Guess I'll have to take it into the shop and see. Cheers for the advice!
Ah that’s a fair whack of kms there! Don't worry too much though, these things can happen even with regular maintenance – Trust me, I've been there. One thing to remember, if it's indeed the sensor or its wheel, it's important to get it fixed asap. Ignoring it could lead to more serious engine damage, and that's when things really start costing you. Considering your mileage and symptoms, it's certainly not out the realm of possibility. Cheers for keeping us updated and I hope it all pans out well for you! Keep your chin up!
Hey, ran into a similar pickle with my 2014 Fiat Ducato not too long ago. I’m no car guru, just a guy with some experience under his belt. Loved the ol' gal, so took it straight to my trusty local mechanic. After some poking around, it turned out to be the sensor wheel on the camshafts. I gotta admit, it wasn't cheap to fix - set me back a groaning 695€, but considering the alternative of my ride ending up as scrap, it was totally worth it. Could you share more details about your Doblo? It could assist me in giving you more specific advice. Bright side - at least we have a place to start looking!
