Seeking Advice on Skoda Citigo Ignition Key Hall Sensor Issue and Locking/Unlocking Problem

They replaced the defective part and made sure it was working fine. The whole ordeal cost me around 290€, but at least the car's been in great shape since. Hey buddies! Thanks for getting back to me so swiftly. When I try to start my Citigo, I get nothing, no response at all sometimes. And then again at times, it cranks, but that's about it. As for the battery, it's pretty much new, so less chance of that being troublesome. And indeed, your experience sound quite similar to mine. Repairing the locking mechanism sounds wise, though I hope it won't make a big hole in my pocket! Definitely helpful, so cheers for that! Keep you all updated after I get it checked in a workshop.
