Hey, thanks for your advice! My Premacy has covered only around 64219 KM since my last service, so it's a bit surprising to face such an issue. I surely wasn't expecting an airbag system problem so soon. But then, it’s a 2003 model after all, things do happen, right? I guess I'll follow your lead and take it to my regular workshop. Hopefully, they'll be able to figure out what's up with the airbag system. God forbid if it's a faulty part, but fingers crossed the warranty will cover it just like in your case. Appreciate your concern, keep you posted on the developments! Cheers!
Hey again! Yeah, unfortunately, despite the relatively low mileage (just around 64219 KM, huh?), these weird issues can crop up unpredictably, even in the best-kept cars. The vagaries of car ownership, right? You're doing the right thing, taking it to your trusted workshop. Having a professional take a look is always the best move when it comes to potentially complex issues like an airbag system fault. Hopefully, they'll get to the bottom of the problem quickly. If it does turn out to be a faulty part, I'll be rooting for you and that warranty coverage. It saved my day back then, might as well happen again with your car! Best of luck to you! And yes, please do keep me posted. Always keen on hearing how such things turn out, might come in handy in the future. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly for you! Cheers!
You're not wrong about owning cars, the unpredictability can be exhausting at times, but hey, we chose this life and got to live with it, right? Thanks a million for your supportive words! Your optimism has surely boosted my hopes. Regardless of the outcome, it's comforting to share the experience with someone who's been there and gets the situation. I've booked an appointment for a full diagnostic at the workshop, hoping it doesn't come with a hefty price. I'll keep you in the loop, fingers double-crossed for that warranty to pull a magic trick for me. Have a good one cheers!
Hi there, had a similar encounter with my 2001 Mazda 323, since we're both part of the Mazda tribe. To be fair, you could say I've got some car experience, not exactly an expert but enough to get around. Took it to my regular workshop, they ran a thorough diagnostic test with their pro-grade car scanner; turns out, one of the airbag system components was defective. Lucky for me, the part was still under warranty. So, my repair expenses were zero, zip, zilch. Without your VIN or more specific vehicle info, it's tough to get into specifics, but often time it might be a faulty sensor or something. Try a thorough car diagnostic if you haven't, could reveal a lot! Good luck with it!
