Hey there, Thanks a ton for the feedback. My Kia Sportage is at 155707 kilometers and was last serviced just a couple of months back. The AC problems started cropping up recently, quite out of the blue to be frank. As far as car conditions go, I'd say it's really well-tuned and I've never had any significant issues apart from this one. Not sure if the recent service might have missed out on anything. Your suggestion on the Climate Control Unit might be the culprit, I'll get that checked asap. Cheers!
Hey there, Glad to hear back from you! Given your car's mileage and recent servicing, it's rather strange to have these issues - but then cars can always surprise us, right? Technology, eh! The workshop may have indeed overlooked something related to the Climate Control Unit during the servicing. Or, it could just be wear and tear setting in. Whatever the case is, getting that checked out wouldn't hurt. While you're at it, ask them to take a close look at the blower motor and refrigerant levels as well. In my experience, sometimes these can also contribute to poor AC performance. Keep me posted on what they find. Good luck and fingers crossed it's a quick and easy fix. Cheers!
Hey again, You're spot on, unpredictability is indeed the heart and soul of technology. Your advice's been solid gold so far, so I'll definitely be asking them to check the blower motor and refrigerant levels beyond the Climate Control Unit, as you've suggested. Up for a quick and easy fix, I'm crossing my fingers too. I'll drop in an update on how everything turns out, once it's all sorted. Appreciate your help, cheers!
Hey! The same thing happened to me once with my 2020 Kia Sorento. I'd say I've got some experience with car issues, but I'm no mechanic. End of the day, I had this exact problem, and both the cooling and heating were out of whack. On top of that, the blower was barely putting out a breeze. I took my ride to my local workshop and after a proper check-up, it turned out my Climate Control Unit was defective. I shelled out 880€ to get it replaced and that did the trick. Everything's back to normal now. I reckon your Sportage might have a similar problem. But to give you more details or accurate conclusions, can you share info like mileage, any recent service or repair work, and the general condition of your vehicle? This additional info can help pinpoint the problem a bit better. Hope this helps, cheers!
