Hey, thanks for your insight! When I'm driving the XC60 around, even if the A/C is cranked to the max, it barely changes the temperature. Really feels like a sauna in there these days. The car's showing 165,784 KM on the dashboard, with the last service done at 160,000 KM. So I'm pretty much due for another service visit. Considering what you just shared, I think I'll ask my garage folks to specifically check the individual valves in the A/C system. Sure hope it's as simple as a valve fix. A €0repair bill is exactly my kind of repair! Cheers for your help!

No problem, friend! Sounds like a mirror image of what I was dealing with indeed. From what I remember, the signs were pretty much the same - setting the A/C to the North Pole wouldn't make a lick of difference. Given the mileage on your Volvo, it makes sense to have it checked sooner rather than later. Plus, it's always better to inquire during a scheduled service, aren't we all fans of killing two birds with one stone? Just explain to the guys at the garage what's up and have them give the A/C system a good look-see, especially the individual valves. I'm crossing my fingers for you. Hope it's the same expenditure-free fix like in my case. It absolutely made my day back then! Keep us posted on what happens, yeah? Best of luck with your Volvo!

Thanks a ton! Indeed, you can't beat sorting out two issues at once. I'll definitely fill in my garage guys about our discussion here. I'm crossing my fingers too and hoping for a freebie fix. It would be one blissful day, ha! I appreciate you sharing your experience, it's been a big help. I've got my service scheduled for next week, so I'll update you on how it all goes. Say, let's hope the beast just needs a valve tweak and it stops impersonating a Swedish sauna. Cheers and thanks again for your guidance!

Hey, your problem sounds eerily similar to something I had with my own 2015 diesel Volvo V60. Now, let's get it straight, I'm far from a car wizard, but I've tinkered around with a few engines. Turned out on my V60, the culprit was defective individual valves in the AC system. Found a local workshop and got them to have a look. I thought I'd be forking over a pretty sum for the fix, but you know what? Cost me exactly €0.0, not a dime! Now, this might be a long shot, but could you share more specifics about your car's condition and symptoms? Might be able to give a more pinpoint advice. Hope this helps ya out!
