Seeking Advice on Renault Arkana Hybrid 2023 Bouncing Issue and Warning Light

Excessive Bouncing

Warning light in the speedometer of the vehicle

Bouncing excessively over bumps

Hey folks, I'm facing a bit of an odd issue with my Renault Arkana Hybrid, build year 2023. It's been bouncing a lot over bumps and shows a warning light on the speedometer. I suspect the damper adjustment might have gone off track but I'm no expert here. Anyone here had a similar issue? How did you folks get it sorted at your workshops? Any advice is hugely appreciated!

Hey there, had a similar problem with my Renault Captur, 2021 model. Not coming from much car background, just some experience here and there, ya know. Turned out to be a defective cable connection in my case. Got it sorted at my local workshop for around €155. Well spent. Maybe you're dealing with something similar? Can you share your mileage and any other symptoms? Could help me get a better picture of what you're dealing with.

Hey, thanks for the response. My Arkana sitting at around 36648 km. And right, besides the warning light and the bouncy ride, it seems like my fuel efficiency's dropped noticeably. I had my last service pretty recently actually. But, this thing just popped up a week ago. Pretty odd, init? Anyway, I'll check out the cable connection as you've suggested. Worth a shot, right?

Hey again, absolutely, worth giving a shot! You know, bounce and fuel efficiency-these two things going awry together could indeed indicate a damper issue. But it could also be tied to your suspension components or wheel alignment, those could mess with your gas mileage too. And based on my humble experience with my Renault Captur, the warning light could be triggered by a load of things, including this cable connection problem I mentioned earlier. Just a thought, but check if the warning light is specifically for your chassis control system - usually illustrates a small, squiggly car. Just to be sure, I'd advise popping by the garage again, preferably the dealer's workshop if your warranty's still up. They should run a proper diagnostic and pinpoint the exact problem. Safety first, right? Good luck with it and let us know how you get on!

Hey there again, your suggestions do make a total load of sense. It didn't cross my mind that all these issues might be connected. You've got some solid experience under your belt! As for the warning symbol, yeah it's exactly as you've described - a small squiggly car. I'll bear your advice in mind and will haul the car to the dealer's workshop tomorrow itself—that warranty could indeed come in handy. And of course, safety always comes first! I'll get back to you folks once I have an update. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated! Fingers crossed now!
