Hey there, Appreciate you sharing your experience there. Gotta say, I wasn't thinking about the accelerator pedal module, but what you've described is dead on with what I've been dealing with. If it isn't too intrusive to ask, do you remember roughly how much it cost you to get that module replaced? And have you had any other unexpected issues come up since you had it done? Thanks a bunch!
Hey, Sure thing, glad to share my insights! So, regarding the costs, I paid about €205 to fix the Accelerator Pedal Module at the local garage. To be honest, it was money well spent since the fix drastically improved my driving experience. As for your query about other issues, since the repair I haven't encountered significant problems. Specifically, getting the Throttle valve error sorted seems to have put an end to the engine instability. She's been running smooth and steady, which for me, was definitely worth the trouble and cost. Remember though, always confirm with a professional first. Every car behaves differently, after all. All the best with fixing your Arkana! Cheers!
Hi, You've been a lot of help! I appreciate your insight and I'm prepared to shell out around €200 if it means sorting out these issues. It's been a major pain lately. Going to take your advice and get a professional to have a look at it. Let's hope it's the same issue you had, and I can have my Arkana running smoothly as well. Thanks for all your assistance. All the best with your Koleos. Cheers!
Hello, I can definitely relate to what you're going through, as I faced a similar issue with my 2019 Renault Koleos a while back. It really is quite frustrating, isn't it? From the symptoms you've described, it seems like your accelerator pedal module might be faulty. Don't fret. My symptoms were pretty much similar to yours. An unstable engine, shut-offs, and that tell-tale jerk upon acceleration. I had that check engine light glaring at me too. I got the accelerator pedal module replaced at this local garage and it seemed to fix the issues I was facing. To be honest, it was a serious issue because the driving experience was compromised big time. But the repair did the trick and my Koleos has been doing great since then. Remember, this is just based on my individual experience. Fixing this part alleviated my issue, but it's always best to consult with an experienced mechanic for an accurate diagnosis. All the best!
