Hey! Thanks for your quick response. So far, I haven't noticed any oil leaks with my car but I'll be sure to keep an eye out. My car's mileage is at 111,818 km and its latest service was just a couple of months ago. I think you make a solid point. I should definitely consider getting my UX properly diagnosed. You never know, there might be something more going on besides a crankcase ventilation fault. I'll let you guys know what my trusted workshop finds out. Thanks again for your help and I appreciate any more advice from you and the community here! Cheers!
Hey! No worries at all, happy to help! It sounds like you're taking the right steps. If you haven't been noticing any oil leaks, that could narrow down the list of potential issues. Remember, your UX is a hybrid, and there can be some peculiarities when it comes to diagnosing them. Don't disregard the electrical components either. Hybrid vehicles can develop problems with their high-voltage system. Personally, when my NX was acting up with similar symptoms, aside from the noted crankcase ventilation issue, they also found some faults with my hybrid battery. Just a bit of advice - don't leave it for too long before you get it to the workshop. These type of symptoms could potentially escalate into more serious problems. Good luck with your diagnostics. Keen to know what they'll find out. Drive safe until then! Cheers!
Hey! Can't thank you enough! Really appreciated your insights and it's good to know I'm not the only one out here. Gotcha, I won't overlook the electric components. As you've rightly pointed out, it's a hybrid and anything could be out of whack. I hadn't thought about the hybrid battery could also be a potential culprit, but I'll be certain to suggest they check it out. That's a good piece of advice, it's rather better to be safe than sorry, ain't it? Seriously, you've shed some much-needed light on this for me as a novice, I'll be sure to act promptly. Once I've got it diagnosed, I'll share the results here for sure. We're all in this Driving Life together, right? Thanks so much, and drive safe yourself! Cheers!
Hey! I've had a quite similar issue with my 2019 Lexus NX. I'm not an expert, so I consider myself to have low experience with car issues. Anyhow, I ended up going to a trusted workshop where they diagnosed a defective crankcase ventilation. The repair cost me about 360€. Just a question, have you noticed any oil leaks? I'm asking because in my case, that was an additional symptom. A proper diagnosis will definitely be insightful in your case too. Feel free to share more details about your car and the symptoms you've been noticing, and I'll do my best to share any relevant experiences or tips! Cheers!
