Seeking Advice on Non-Working Seat Heaters in 2021 Renault Arkana
Seat heating without function

What's up,! Thanks for chipping in, your experience might be a game-changer here. So, my Arkana's got 105325 km on the clock and no prior issues with the heating system. I generally use it for daily commuting, nothing too rough or extreme. After your tip, I think the heating mat might just be the problem. Can't say I'm thrilled about the potential cost but hey, winter is coming, right? Thanks a ton, I'll check with the mechanic and let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed it won't set me back too much. Cheers!
Hey! Great to hear back from you! Your mileage does suggest a potential wear and tear on the heating mat, especially if the car sees a lot of use. Just in case, you might also want to check out the wiring and the fuses, could be an electrical glitch, usually a cheaper fix. And as for the cost, well, it stings but a warm seat in freezing temps is well worth it! Remember to go to a trusted mechanic, possibly an expert with Renaults. Hope you don't have to shell out too much. Looking forward to hearing how it turned out! Winter is indeed coming, let's keep that toasty tush theory going, ha! All the best! Cheers!
Hey again,! Thanks for all the sterling advice and optimism. I'm definitely going to make sure the mechanic checks out the wiring and fuses too - every cent saved counts, after all! Your toasty tush theory is most certainly my guiding principle now, hahaha. Will drop by a trusted Renault expert this week and keep you posted. Appreciate the help! Really warms my, uh, heart. Cheers!
Hey, had a similar problem with my 2017 Renault Kadjar – just a couple years apart, eh? I'm far from being a mechanic, but I do have low experience with cars and basic DIY fixes. So when my own seat heaters went caput, I hauled it over to my local workshop. Turns out, the heating mat seat was defective. The fix wasn't cheap, set me back a good 390 euro, but at least I've got my toasty tush back. It's usually hard to say for certain without seeing the vehicle, but if your model is anything like mine, could be you've got a similar issue on your hands. Pass along some more specifics about your Arkana, like mileage, usage, and if you've had any previous problems with the heating system - I might be able to share more details or tips! Hope that helps a bit. Cheers!
