Seeking Advice on Navigation and Audio System Issues in 2020 Nissan Kicks
(Translated from German)
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Nissan Kicks owner is experiencing issues with the navigation and audio systems, suspecting the speakerphone mic might be the cause. A similar problem was encountered by another individual with a 2018 Nissan Rogue, where the Infotainment system was identified as the culprit and replaced. The suggested solution is to consult a workshop for a full diagnostic to pinpoint the exact issue, as it could be related to the Infotainment system rather than the speakerphone mic.

Hey there! Thanks for the suggestion, really appreciate it. My Kicks has clocked in about 135,691 km and I did get a service recently, but didn't bring up this issue - which I'm now kicking myself for! This is the first time I've had a glitch like this, really threw me for a loop. Did your Rogue give you any other problems post the Infotainment system replacement? Would be good to know. Cheers!

No worries at all! Always happy to have a car chinwag. Well, after the Infotainment system shenanigans, my Rogue's been behaving, touchwood. Had no big issues, honest. Though I did have a minor problem a few months later - the Bluetooth being capricious at times, but a system reset sorted that out. If your Kicks' issues crop up post-service, might be best to raise it with your workshop ASAP. They might run a full diagnostics on your ride, probably nail the exact issue. Best of luck, and keep us posted. Drive safe!

Hey, I'm grateful for your input. I'll definitely buzz my workshop about it. Can't ignore these little problems, can we? Will also mention that Bluetooth tidbit - got me curious, you see. Once there's progress, I'll give you a shout out here. Thanks again, you've given me a solid starting point here. Happy driving! Cheers!

Hey there! I reckon I've had a few rounds with a similar issue on my 2018 Nissan Rogue. My understanding about cars is sort of basic at best, but I'm up for a chat about it. After dealing with my local garage, it turned out to be the Infotainment system that had gone bonkers, not the speakerphone mic. To rectify it, they replaced the system and it set me back about 815 Euro. Worth it in the end though! By the way, could you share more info about your Kicks? Like, what's its mileage and have you had similar issues before? Would help in further assisting you. Alright then, catch you later!
