Blower does not work properly

Hey, thanks for sharing your experience! This reassures me that I'm not dealing with a huge problem here. Just curious, how much did it set you back to get the servomotor replaced? And have you noticed any other related issues cropping up since the fix? Any inside info would be awesome. Look forward to your reply!
Hey there! Happy to share more info! After being at the mechanic, thankfully, the malfunction with the rear ventilation flap got sorted out. The repair wasn't a pocket-killer either. The bill for the replacement of the servomotor in the cable was around 170.00 €. I have to say, the money was worthy to get back the comfort in my ride. As for any related issues, I'm glad to confirm that the fix has held the ground so far. Let's knock on wood, but everything's been working smoothly since then, and the blower's back to its old self - quite a relief! I hope this helps ease your mind about the situation. Just hang in there, and I'm sure you'll have your Air-con back to its glory in no time! Let me know if you have more questions.
Appreciate the good news, bud! It's great to hear that the repair was both effective and not too heavy on the wallet. Your feedback definitely puts my mind at ease. Now I've got a solid idea about what to expect when I hit the mechanic. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a speedy fix just like yours. Thanks a bunch for taking the time to help out. Will surely keep you posted on how it goes. Cheers!
Hey there! I've got a 2014 Hyundai Sonata and I ran into a pretty similar problem not too long ago. Yep, it was the cable needing a servomotor replaced as you guessed. My blowers were acting all sketchy and not quite doing their thing as they should. The mechanic explained to me that it was about the rear ventilation flap, and it's a pain if it's not working right. It wasn't a horror show like a busted transmission or something, but it threw off my AC which was pretty uncomfortable, especially on long rides. I had to get it replaced at my local garage. Definitely not the sort of job I could handle myself at home with my limited tool set. Luckily it took about a day to get sorted, so it was a relatively quick job. Sure hope it helps! Let us know how it goes when you've seen your mechanic.
