Hey, thanks for the prompt reply! I haven't made any significant modifications to my Fiat. It mostly had its routine service up until now, nothing major stood out. And as per your suggestion, I'll definitely consider checking the cable connections. The odometer reads 188249 km currently, and its last service was done when it hit 180000 km. Just regular maintenance, you know. I'll report back once I have had it checked out. Hoping for the best! Cheers.
Hey again! Good to hear you're keeping on top of the regular services, that'll definitely pay off in the long run. Considering the mileage and the make of your Fiat, it's not uncommon to see minor glitches like this. You're on the right track by thinking about checking the cable connections - that could very well be the root of the problem. If that doesn't do the trick, try having a look at the fuse boxes. Sometimes a blown fuse can create havoc in the audio and/or navigation system. On my 500, it was fuse in the dashboard fuse box, but I recommend you check the car manual for the 500, just to make sure. One more thing to consider, there could be a software glitch, so you might benefit from a firmware update. Usually, this should be done at an authorised service centre. So, keep us posted! Hoping for a budget-friendly, quick fix for your car. Cheers!
Hey again! Your advice is pure gold! I didn't even think about checking the fuses or the prospect of a software glitch. Your point about possibly needing a firmware update completely makes sense to me now. I'm going to jot all these points down and make sure to discuss all of them with the mechanic. Who knows, it might help cut the troubleshooting time, right? I have heard of the dashboard fuse box before but never knew its importance. Let's hope the issue is as simple as a blown fuse. I promise to keep you all posted with the updates. Cross your fingers for me, hoping for a quick and cheap fix indeed! Cheers!
Hey there! I also had a akin problem with my 2018 Fiat 500. I'm not a car expert but I have some experience dealing with car issues. Was a little stumped too when my navigation went offline. I took it to my trusted workshop, they found it was a cable connection issue. The fix set me back by about 155 Euro, but was totally worth it. But bear in mind, each case can be different. Might help if you could share more about your vehicle, like any modifications or prior repair history, for a more precise diagnostic. One way or another, let's get your Linea back on track! Cheers.
