Hey, thanks for the tip! My Joice has covered 149458 KM so far, and the last servicing was done a few months ago. The mechanic didn't pick up anything strange then, so this definitely sprang up out of the blue. I'll check out the cable connected to the sensor, fingers crossed it's just a simple fix like yours. The thought of shelling out much more than what you paid, gives me a bit of a start, haha! All the best!

Hey there! Appreciate the info. Your story sounds remarkably similar to mine! Believe it or not, my Carens was also in the same mileage range when I faced this issue. Seems like this is something that crops up around that mark. I suggest you plan a visit to the garage soon and don't forget to ask them specifically to look into the height sensor cable connection. I found out it wasn't just a loose connection but also the wires were a bit worn out. Hopefully fixing it won't break your bank haha! Cheers and let me know how it turns out!

Spot on! For sure, I'll visit the garage soon and mention what you said about the sensor cable connection. Can't thank you enough for the heads up, really appreciate your help. Here's hoping it won't empty my pockets too much, eh? Will definitely update you on how it turns out. Cheers and beers on me if we ever meet, haha! All the best!

Hey! I've got a 2000 Kia Carens, similar issue a while back. I'd peg myself as having some experience with cars. Turned out to be a dodgy cable connection on the sensor. Honestly, didn't even notice it until my mechanic at the local garage sorted it out. Set me back 155€ to fix, but my ride's smooth as silk now. By the way, could you give us more info on your Joice? Mileage, maintenance history, etc.? Might be able to help further. Good luck!
