Hi! Seems like your Renault Kadjar adventure had quite the plot twist, huh? Stinks to think that my Arkana might be going through the same cryptic saga with a wiring harness. I never imagined it could cause multiple problems like the faulty blower and annoying warning light you mentioned. Sounds like the making of a perfect car horror story. Lucky for you your mechanic had a nose like a bloodhound, tracing and fixing the problem. Good mechanics capable of solving these detective mysteries are a rare breed these days. If you don't mind me asking, do you remember what kind of damage this fiasco did to your wallet? And since the fix, any unexpected sequels, or has it been smooth sailing? Cheers for sharing your experience. It’s definitely worth considering while I navigate this car conundrum.
Hey, Your remark about my 'kadjar adventure' made me chuckle! Yeah, it felt like an overwrought suspense movie but thankfully with a happy ending. About the damage to my wallet, fixing the wiring harness cost me 155 euro. It was a necessary evil which saved me from bigger headaches down the road. Totally worth it if you ask me. As for any unexpected sequels, naw, not at all! Ever since that skilled mechanic got into the picture, things have been running as smooth as silk. Guess what? You were right! After sorting out the wiring harness issue, he also found a faulty solar sensor in my Kadjar - managed to sort that out as well. Go with a good, intuitive mechanic, get that wiring harness checked, and with any luck, you’ll be on your way towards a smooth ride. A slightly lighter wallet but it's peace of mind! Good luck with your Arkana situation, and do keep us posted! Cheers!
Hello. You almost sold me the movie tickets to your ‘Kadjar horror show’, haha! Glad to hear it had a relatively inexpensive and happy ending though. 155 euro for a smooth ride and peace of mind sounds like a fair deal. Also, it's interesting your mechanic found a faulty solar sensor too. Guess my hunch wasn't a wild goose chase after all. Hopefully, I'll strike gold, find a top-notch mechanic, and get this wiring harness (among other things) sorted. I'll keep you folks in the loop as my Arkana story unfolds. Thanks again for your insight and suggestions. Fingers crossed, my own ‘Arkana thriller’ ends as smoothly as yours. Take care and catch you on the flip side! Cheers!
Hello there, Just quickly chiming in since I had a somewhat similar experience with my 2018 Renault Kadjar. Turns out I had a defective wiring harness causing some unusual issues, a bit like yours. The faults you describe, particularly the blower inconsistency and the warning light, sound strikingly familiar. The wiring harness problem can be sneaky because it can lead to various signal problems, affecting different parts of the car, causing other parts to malfunction to some extent. As puzzling as these symptoms may seem, they can all be interconnected. I won't go into too much detail, but the process to fix it involved quite a bit of detective work tracing several circuits. It's actually a pretty serious issue, as it can gradually affect more parts of the car until it inevitably forces you to stop. In my case, I was blessed with a highly skilled mechanic, who was able to diagnose and fix the issues. My advice? Look for a reputable, experienced mechanic who knows his or her way around Renault's electrical systems. That's your best bet here, in my experience. Good luck and hope it gets squared away quickly!
