Hey there, Cheers for sharing your experience with the Kadjar. Sounds quite similar to what I'm dealing with my Arkana! Fingers crossed it’s just this Cold Shut-off valve acting up. I'll check with my mechanic as soon as possible. Your lead is a relief after all that nightmare last time. By the way, can you remember how much your garage charged you for this little devilish valve? And have any more issues cropped up since you had it replaced, or has it been smooth sailing? Again, I appreciate the help!
Hey again, Ah, that's the beauty of it, didn't cost me a dime to sort the Cold Shut-off valve! The garage guys ended up covering it so the wallet came out grinning from ear to ear! Definitely a pleasant surprise. Since then, no more bothers with the temperature doing a snow-and-desert routine. The Air conditioning error message is history now, and the drive's been as smooth as butter. Look, cars are like puzzles, sometimes pieces act out, but once you find which one, it's all good! Make sure you take your Arkana to a trustworthy mechanic. Hope the fix will be as painless for you as it was for me. Take care and drive safe!
Hey, Wow, your mechanic sounds like a saint! I hope I get the same royal treatment from mine. I'm thrilled to hear that it didn't give you any more grief after the fix. That's really reassuring. I'll certainly put your advice into confident strides and see if this puzzle fits. Here's hoping my Arkana's recovery journey won't be as haunting as the last time. Thanks heaps for sharing your journey with me. It made me feel like less alone in the car trouble arena! Take care and stay safe on the road! This little chat of ours certainly lifted my spirits. Cheers!
Hey, I had a similar issue with my 2018 Renault Kadjar. Not the exact model, but close enough. The culprit in my case was a faulty Cold Shut-off valve. That little devil gave me quite the headache with constant error lights and whacky AC behavior feeling like Arctic then Sahara within minutes. Fortunately, it wasn't a massive concern. Just annoying, really. The garage guys diagnosed it pretty quick and fixed the shut-off valve. They had to take apart the housing to get to it and replace it with a new one. Job done in a few hours without any complications. If your symptoms are similar, this might be your problem too. Bear in mind though, every case is unique. Just sharing what happened in my case. Hope it helps and good luck!
