Seeking Advice on Dealing with Uneven Ride Height and Excessive Bouncing in a 2007 Nissan Frontier

Uneven Ride Height

Excessive Bouncing

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my 2007 Nissan Frontier running on a Gasoline engine. Noticed a couple of issues - my ride height is uneven and there's too much bouncing on the move. I'm suspecting it could have something to do with my height sensor functions getting hampered, but not quite sure. Anyone out there experienced something similar and how did you manage to sort it out at the garage? Looking forward to hearing your experiences and any tips you might have. Cheers!

Hey, I had a similar scenario with my 2005 Nissan Navara not too long ago. I'm not the biggest car whizz but I've got a bit of experience under my belt. Anyhow, faced an uneven ride height too and had me yerks I can tell you! Took it to my local workshop and turned out the cable connection on a sensor was faulty. Ended up setting me back about 155 Euro to get it right. But listen – check the make, model, and mileage on your Frontier; more details like that can make it easier to guide you further. All the best with it!

Cheers for your reply! Nice to know there's someone out there who has tackled a similar issue. It's a relief it wasn't anything too expensive. I have put in 38799 KM on my frontier since the last service. So, guess I'll have to drop by my mechanic to get this sensor issue checked out. Thanks for the pointers!

Hey, no worries! Always glad to help out. With those kilometers, it makes sense to get it checked. Keep an eye too on the struts and shock absorbers, excessive bouncing could be due to worn-out ones, and that can exacerbate the uneven ride height issue, not just the height sensor. Anyway, a good mechanic will be able to sort it out. Let us know how you get on, fingers crossed it won't be a wallet-buster! Cheers!

Thanks for the extra piece of advice, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely have my mechanic look at the shocks and struts too just to be on the safe side. Will keep you all posted on how it goes. Cross your fingers! Cheers!
