Appreciate your response! Good to know I'm not the only one with this sort of trouble. My Palisade is indeed under warranty, but some annoying paperwork is in the way. I'm kind of stuck until I sort it out. But, talking about other glitches... Well, sometimes there's a strange thump noise when I start it up or more like a clap. Quite peculiar, if you ask me. Had my last service at 22380 KM and it all seemed okay back then. That’s not too far off, right? Could this symptom be related to the rest of the madness? Or is it a separate saga altogether?
Hey again! Glad to hear your Palisade is still under warranty, that'll make things easier on your wallet once the paperwork is sorted. About the thump or clap noise you mentioned, that does add another twist to the tale. It could definitely be related, but it might be a separate thing to look into. From my experience, such sounds can sometimes be caused by engine problems - a stuck valve or bad lifters could be the culprits. But also, it might be harmless - some cars, especially newer ones, have unique startup sounds that are nothing to worry about. Still, I recommend getting it checked out. Add it to the list for when you take her into the garage, you know? Sorry to hear about your struggles. Hang in there and keep us updated! Can't promise miracles, but we're all here to help each other out! Cheers!
Cheers for the help again! Besides these issues, Palisade has been a dream ride. I'll go over all these things with the garage once I manage to get past this paperwork. And that thump or clap, whatever that ends up being. I'll keep you updated on what comes of it. Worst case scenario, a separate issue, best case, just unique startup sounds, like you said! Either way, I'm eager to get to the bottom of it. Your support means a lot really grateful! Catch you on the flip side!
Hey there! Seems like you're in a bit of a pickle with your 2020 Palisade. I've got some experience in the auto world. You could say I've got some know-how. I ran into a similar problem with my '18 Tucson a while back. Didn't cost me a dime though. Same deal – cold shut-off valve was messing with my electrics and causing the AC to go haywire. Your problem sounds so familiar, I'm thinking it could be the same. Here's how I dealt with mine, might just work for you too. I hauled it over to my trusty workshop, told 'em what was up. Lucky for me, they had a handle on it pretty quick. Turns out it was covered under warranty. They swapped out the defective valve, no hassles. AC's been running like a dream since! Outta curiosity, does your ride still fall under warranty? And any other bits acting up, besides the AC and the electrics? That could help in pin-pointing the exact problem. Hang in there!
