Hey, appreciate the insight! Seems like our leash-kiddos (cars, haha) might be dealing with the same ailments. Your ordeal sounds similar for sure. When you shelled out for the brake pads and rotor service, can you recall what kind of hit your wallet took? And has anything else brake-related cropped up since then? Cheers for the help!
Heyo! Ah, the sweet pain of parting with cash for our 'leash-kiddos'! When I had to fix the worn brakes, it cost me about 480 Euro - a hit, but at least it's keeping the ride safe, eh? Since that repair job, my M3's brakes have been on stellar form, no other issues at all. Remember, better safe than sorry, especially when it's about something as crucial as brakes. You definitely don't want to be swerving around like a crazy person with a brake failure, trust me! Take care and drive safe!
Definitely agree! Guilts you every time, but safety is paramount, right? Thanks for sharing the cost. Seems like a reasonable price to pay, considering the peace of mind that follows. And hearing about your smooth sail post-repair definitely makes the decision easier. Better talk to my mechanic sooner rather than later! Thanks a lot your advice is really valued. Catch you on the flip side! Safe driving to you too!
Hey there! I've got a 2017 BMW M3, pretty close to yours mileage-wise. Had a similar issue pop up, turned out to be the brake system alright. The warning lights are usually spot-on and indicate worn brake pads needing a change. Last time I was at the garage, they checked the brake pads, rotors, and also the brake fluid. Turned out, the pads were worn pretty thin and the rotors had minor scuffs. Needed both of them serviced so decided to get it done right there to avoid any serious issues down the road. Mechanics know their stuff, so it's always good to get their expert opinion. Hope this helps! Safe driving!
