Hey, Sounds like an annoying problem. You know, I ran into a similar situation with my Seat Tarraco too recently. It's a 2022 model as well, just like yours, and currently sitting at 112486KM. Recently wrapped up the latest service. For me, it turned out to be the ABS sensor itself which was the culprit. Took it to my trusted garage, they hooked it up to their diagnostic tool, tried clearing the fault but it would pop right back up. They tried with a new sensor and voila, no more issues. Important to note, though, every situation could be different. It might not be your ABS sensor, but something related to the ABS system. Best of luck with sorting it out! Also, keep us posted on what the issue turned out to be. Cheers!
Hey again, Yeah, your situation does ring a bell. My 2020 Seat Leon saga continued after replacing the ABS control unit like I mentioned in my previous response. Even after the control unit replacement, the problems resurfaced within weeks. The ABS light would come on intermittently and then the whole ABS/DSC system would shut down just like yours. Brought it back to the workshop and turned out it was the ABS sensor, just like what happened with your Tarraco. The faulty sensor was giving incorrect readings to the control unit, causing it to throw a fault code and deactivate the system. They replaced the sensor which cost me about 250.00 Euro. Since then, fingers crossed, no more issues - touch wood. Your problem might be just as simple. Again, I'm no expert, just sharing my experience here. If you're not comfortable troubleshooting yourself, better leave it to the professionals. Good luck, hope you get it sorted out soon. Cheers!
Hey team, Thanks so much for sharing your experiences, really appreciate it. It seems like the issue could be larger than simply replacing the ABS sensor, just like how it turned out with both your Seat models. I did indeed notice some changes in braking but couldn't really pin it down to the ABS system acting up. And as for the specific error codes, I’d have to check again and will definitely get back on this. The car's new and it’s worrying to see these issues, but I guess that's technology for you, huh? I'm thinking of taking it to the workshop this coming week and let the pros handle it. I'll keep you updated on what happens next. Thanks again for all your help! Cheers!
Hey there, I had a similar issue with my 2020 Seat Leon, Diesel engine. First off, I'm by no means a car expert, got some experience, but mostly I trust my mechanic. My ABS light turned on as well and it turned out to be the ABS control unit that was defective. My workshop did a comprehensive diagnostic test to pinpoint the problem. They checked the wheel speed sensors and wiring as well, just to rule out other potential issues. Ended up needing to replace the ABS control unit, which set me back 1000.00 Euro. Not the cheapest, but it did resolve the issue. For your case, could you share what are the specific error codes you're getting? That might help to narrow down the potential issues. Also, have you noticed any changes in braking behavior? Hope this helps even a bit and good luck with getting it fixed! Cheers!
