Appreciate the quick response. My Note runs on a 1.2L Gasoline engine and she's got about 182,645 kilometers on the clock from the past six odd years. Despite the regular services, I started noticing the ABS warning light flicker from time to time, about a couple thousand kilometers ago. But apart from that, I can't think of any other warning signs. Hoping this info helps. And again, thanks for your help!

Hey, no worries, happy to help! From your description, it seems that our issues might indeed be similar. Of course, I can't guarantee it, but it might well be the ASC relay in your case as well, especially given the flickering warning light and the mileage. Just a heads up, when I took my Micra for the ABS warning issue, my mechanic also suggested checking the ABS sensor and performing an ABS module programming. I would recommend you get your mechanic to do the same – better safe than sorry! I'd be definitely interested to hear how this turns out for you, wish you the best of luck solving this problem! Keep us updated.

Absolutely! Thanks a ton for your help. Yeah, I'll definitely let my mechanic know about the ASC relay as well as having the ABS sensor checked and ABS module programming done. Really hoping that sorts the problem out. I will surely keep you updated. Yet again, appreciate your advice and kind words. Cheers!

Hey, gotcha. I'm not a car expert by any means but I've had a similar problem with my 2012 Nissan Micra Diesel. Started out the same way, ABS warning popping up and all. From my experience, it turned out to be a defective ASC relay, relatively easy to fix actually. I took mine to a trusted local mechanic who swapped it out for a new one. All in all, it cost me about 90 Euro which I think was reasonable. The whole process was pretty smooth and my Micra has been running fine since then. Although, before I can really dig into how my problem matches with yours, I'd need some more info. Could you perhaps share your specific engine model, mileage, and any prior warning signs if any? I hope we find your solution soon!
